Ingredients
¾ lb Bok Choy
1 lb fresh broccoli florets
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted white sesame seeds
Instructions
Separate the Bok Choy stems and leaves; rough chop the leaves. Chop the stems and reserve ¾ cup. (Too many stems can be bitter).
In a large skillet bring ½ cup water to a boil; add the chopped Bok Choy leaves and broccoli. Cover and simmer over medium low heat for 6 minutes. Uncover and cook over high heat until the water evaporates, about 3 minutes.
Add the Bok Choy stems, oil, and garlic. Cook, tossing often, about 2 minutes.
Add ginger and soy sauce. Gently mix. Top with toasted sesame seeds.
