Turkey Chili Spaghetti

Ingredients
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 14 ounce can mild chili beans
  • 4 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 colored bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, broke in half
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 ½ tablespoons chili powder
Instructions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and pepper and cook for 2 minutes, add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute longer. Add the tomato paste and chili powder and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the turkey and cook and stir, breaking up the meat for 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth, beans, and tomato sauce; bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Add the hot sauce and mix well.
  4. Add the pasta noodles to the meat mixture. Combine well and cook for 1 minute. Serve.
