1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed off, cut into thirds
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon butter
⅓ cup water
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a large skillet heat sesame oil and add ginger. Cook for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and garlic; continue to cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add asparagus and water; bring to a boil, cover and cook for 3 minutes. Add soy sauce and butter; cook for 1 minute longer. Season with salt and pepper.
