Tom’s Lemony Mushroom Cream sauce

Ingredients
- ½ cup half & half
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoon dry sherry
- ¼ cup butter
- Juice from 1 lemon
- Rind from 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon dill weed
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
- 1 can mushrooms, drained
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a sauce pan melt the butter. Add the mushrooms and green onions; stir until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add flour; continue to cook for 1 minute.
- Add sherry, lemon juice, half & half, & milk; simmer, stirring, until thickened. About 4 minutes.
- Add the fresh parsley & Lemon rind.
