Broccoli with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Yummy Broccoli with a Parmesam cheese sauce.
- 1 Pound broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk, divided
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Steam broccoli for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk ¼ cup of milk with the flour until smooth.
- Heat the remaining ¾ cup of milk in a sauce pan until steaming, about 2 minutes. Whisk in the flour mixture; cook, whisking constantly, until thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add cheese and seasoning. Mix well. Pour over cooked broccoli.

Steam broccoli for 5 to 7 minutes or until the tenderness that you like.
Meanwhile:
Only a few simple items for this creamy dish.
Wish 1/4 cup milk with 1 tablespoon flour until smooth.
Heat the remaining 3/4 cup of milk in a sauce pan over medium heat.
When milk just begins to lightly bubble, about 2 minutes, Wish in the flour mixture and continue to whisk and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Turn off heat and all the Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Transfer steamed broccoli to searving dishes and top with cheese sauce.
