Cracker Jacket Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops Center cut, ¾ inch thick
- 2 eggs, beaten with 1 Tablespoon water to thin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 oz. saltine crackers, about 1 long package, crushed finely
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet
- In a shallow bowl, whisk garlic and onion power with the egg mixture. In a shallow pie pan place the crackers.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet. Dip the pork chops first in the egg mixture the rolls in the crumbs. Coat each piece.
- Fry in the hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes per side, just until golden brown. Remove to cooking sheet.
- Bake for 14 minutes total. Turning once after the first 7 minutes.

First gather your ingredients and trim any excess fat from the pork chops. Beat the garlic and onion power with the eggs in a dish. Place the bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Bread each side of the pork chops. Pressing the breadcrumbs into the pork chops genitally to secure. Heat oil in large fry pan and place chops in pan. Fry the chops on each side for 2 minutes each. Transfer the pork chops to a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes per side.
Nice juicy coated pork chops.
