Turkey Chili Spaghetti
- 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 14 ounce can mild chili beans
- 4 ounces tomato paste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 colored bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 12 ounces spaghetti, broke in half
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 2 ½ tablespoons chili powder
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and pepper and cook for 2 minutes, add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute longer. Add the tomato paste and chili powder and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes.
- Add the turkey and cook and stir, breaking up the meat for 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth, beans, and tomato sauce; bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Add the hot sauce and mix well.
- Add the pasta noodles to the meat mixture. Combine well and cook for 1 minute. Serve.

This recipe is very simple to cook and makes a nice change from the standard pasta taste.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and return to pot. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and stir in. Cover to keep warm.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skileet over medium high heat. Add the peppers and onions, and 1/2 teaspon salt. Soften the veggies for 2 minutes.
Add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute longer. Add the tomato paste and chili powder. Mix in well and continue to cook for 2 more minutes.
Add the turkey. Cook and break up turkey meat, about 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth, beans, and tomato sauce. Combine well.
Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring, for about 15 minutes. Add hot sauce to chili meat mixture.
Transfer the meat mixture to the pot with the cooked spaghetti.
Mix the meat mixture and the pasta noodles until completly covered.
