Lamb & Turkey Meatball Stroganoff
This yummy dish is a combination of great tasting Lamb & Turkey meat balls (Recipe is HERE!), a stroganoff sauce, and some easy whole wheat egg noodles.
Lamb & Turkey Meatball Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 16 Meatballs
- 8 ounces whole wheat egg noodles, cooked according to package
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, healthy style
- 8 ounces non-fat plain yogurt
- 1 small can of mushrooms, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl combine salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and soup. Mix well.
- In a large skillet heat ½ tablespoon oil; sauté the onions for about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and continue to sauté for 1 minute longer.
- Add sauce mixture. Warm for 2 minutes. Add the meatballs and combine well with the sauce. Heat for about 6 minutes, stirring often. Add noodles and continue to simmer for 6 minutes longer.
- Remove from heat. Add sour cream and parsley.
- Re-heat slightly to warm through. 1 minute.
In a mixing bowl combine salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and soup. Mix well.
In a large skillet heat 1/2 tablespoon oil. Add onions and saute for 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute longer. Add the sauce mixture.
Combine well and heat through, about 2 minutes.
Add the meatballs and coat well. Cook, stirring often, for about 6 minutes.
Add the cooked nodles and combine well.
Cook , stirring often for about 6 more minutes.
Remove from heat and add the sour cream and parsley. combine well.
